do you guys in the USA also get your clearances via datalink from ATC?

I mean, here in Germany, when you are at airport A and go to airport B, you get your clearance while on the gate at airport A via datalink. But I think in the USA you must still turn the frequency in your NAV to get your clearance, right?
(If right, why is that)?

Any FBOs in the USA renting a Varga 2150 for flight training?

Does anyone know of a FBO or Flight School in the USA or Canada that is presently using a Varga 2150 aircraft for flight training and/or rental?
I learned to fly in this type of aircraft more than 20 years ago and I would like to fly in one again but I can not locate one that is for rent all that I find are for personal use by owner.
