I have recently moved to the USA from another country. I have years of credit history where I came from, but here I have about 4 months – one credit card with a whopping $200 limit. My VantageScore is 635.

What is the fastest way to increase this score. Also, can I qualify for an auto loan with this score, or is it too low?

Given all the worries about credit in this country, and subprime mortgages, I was curious as to what the entire amount of home mortgage debt is. There are about 110 million households in the country, with 70% of them owned residences. Let’s say there are 75 million owned homes. Not all have mortgages, but if 70 million do, and the average mortgage amount on such homes is $200,000, that comes out to a scary $14 TRILLION of mortgage debt in the USA. If just 2% default, the amount of bad home loans is $280 billion. It could obviously be much higher.

Does anyone know what total mortgage debt is per household and in total? This is a real problem that could damage the economy.

I am new to USA – been here less than 9 months and have a bank account with CHASE. I have a good salary and pay all my bills on time. But still CHASE refuses to give me a cresdit card and their reason is – You dont have a credit history!!Now if the ban kI have an account with otself says that they will not give me a credit card then how do I build a credit hisTORY?Are there any banks that will issue a credit card to me?

I keep hearing in news that USA has trillions of dollars in debts to china.

1)Then how come USA is still a super power and everyone in the world come to USA to make there dreams come true.

2) If China has so much of money to lend to USA , then why is there country in poverty compared to USA ?

3) Why do then people in China come to USA as immigrants still ?
