I don’t understand something…I remember hearing that contractors in the USA would pay Mexicans to bring workers across the border to work in the US.

I don’t get what this immigration problem is…or at least, why the Mexicans are being blamed for it, when the USA is obviously letting them come through and settle there.

What am I missing here? Should you not be angry at your own government? I realize there is a lot of riff-raff that comes across but aren’t the majority of illegals just wanting a better life?

Here’s the deal,

My best friend lives in Canada, and we’re both working on trying to get her to move in with me once I get my own place. But while we wait we want to make sure we are fully prepared of whatever obstacles we may encounter during the immigration.

She does want to get a job here, and she does want to become a citizen.

So what exactly would we need to make this happen?

I want to work for around 5 months in the USA doing unskilled work, as i have family who live in California. I just need to know how much it costs to get the visa.
