What are the differences between Mazda 5 USA and Europe?

Hi! I would like to buy a Mazda 5 in USA, and also maybe my company will transfer me to Spain to work there. I have heard that you have to modify some stuff in the cars to adapt them from the laws in USA to the laws in Europe.
