what do I have to do to move my cats from canada to usa?

I am moving from Canada to USA and I am wondering what I exactly need to do for moving them? I will be driving down through the borders, what are they going to ask me for? I have heard that they will ask for a health record of the cat, record of vaccinations, etc. My one cat is 3 yrs old, and the other is about 5 or 6 months old can someone please help me?
